This garbage can is quite nice. I really like that the type of lid allows it to be pushed all the way up against the wallcorner without obstructing the lid at all. However, if you’re dropping anything light into the garbage (tissues, q-tips, cotton rounds, cotton balls), they aren’t heavy enough to make the lid open on its own, so unfortunately you have to bend down and do it manually. I also like that it came with garbage bags and that it holds the garbage bags in place quite well. It’s also a nice color - online it looked more silver, but in person it’s more of a charcoaldark grey metal finish. This trash bin does have the promised soft close foot pedal and it's nice that it comes with extra bags. It fits the aesthetic of my bathroom with brass fittings without having the entire can be gold-colored. My two gripes with this trash can are 1. It feels relatively flimsy compared to stainless steel bathroom trash cans I've had in the past and 2. The texture of the gold paint on the trash can trim is not very smooth. At this price point, a Kohler or simple human bathroom step trash can are a lot better value.
