I purchased the 35.75” 600 CFM Ducted Wall Mount Range Hood in Stainless Steel (model KBRH1319) on 11/13/2022. Recently, one of the fan knobs broke into two pieces. I was surprised to discover that the knob was made of plastic rather than stainless steel, which raises concerns about the durability and overall quality of the product. When I reached out to customer service for a replacement, I was informed that the unit was out of its 2-year warranty. I was offered a set of five replacement knobs for $5, but with a $17 shipping charge, which I consider excessive. I chose this to maximize cooking space replacing a broken 1960’s vent hood. It looks nice, arrived as expected, no damaged. It works as expected.
