I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better. The standard 3-inch (77 mm)polished stainless-steel draft tower dispenser, which is mounted to the top center counter, is cooled by continuous cold air circulation to maintain tap temperature that reduces foam when dispensing and can easily fill pint beer glasses, frosted beer mugs and pitchers. Premium features on this model include a self-contained forced air refrigeration system which cools the base cabinet and tower to optimize temperature throughout your commercial operations. The solid-state digital control system is designed with LED temperature display. This beer tower dispenser is engineered to facilitate maintenance and maneuvering by the operator, with an easy to clean slide-out condensing unit, recessed drawer handles(with locks) and four (4) swivel casters (two of which come with brakes). The dispenser is equipped with integrated condensate evaporator, meaning no drain line connection is needed. Operation requires CO2 tank and regulator (not included).

The product was perfect for our needs. The price was very fair and the financing was great. The set up was easy. The only thing that should be addressed is in the set-up of the CO2 gauages and connections. That section of the manual could use a little more clarity. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super quiet and the purple light looks really cool too. It processes food very quickly and super quietly. The LEDefense light looks cool and it seems to really work well too. I have put a lot of garlic through it and the light seems to have kept any odor from that at bay. Love that feature, cuz the musty disposal smell was one of the reasons that I had my last disposal ripped out. Because of these extra features, it takes up a bit more room under the sink.
