Sleek and a eye catcher. Has great ventilation pull and has several levels of suction. My only complaints are...the fan is a bit loud and my front panel only lights up once you press on the light or vent fan icons. It's extremely hard to see the number on and light icon on the solid black touch panel. It should have a back light. Could be the installer missed connecting a wire for the back light. Great quality, easy to install... my only complaint is that the flex hose they provided cannot be attached directly to the vent because there is a backflowdraft damper that is not able to open and close with the flex hose compressed... you need to definitely use at least 6 piece of straight metal ductwork first, then attach the flex hose.... but the product is very well made otherwise!. It works great! For the price, it’s a great value. The fan works perfectly, and as other reviews have stated, it’s not loud on one or two, but it does get loud at three and up. I do wish the controls were a little more intuitive but one thing I love is that the same controls are on both sides of the vent (one set front left, one set back right), so it doesn’t matter which way it’s installed, and you can access buttons from the left or right. The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. Just had the hood installed last Tuesday, but the grill is not hoojed up yet so really havent used hood to see how it works. It is sleek looking and doesnt dominate our small outdoor kitchen area, which is what we we wanted. The fan does seem quite loud though even on a '1' setting so a little disappointed about that. We had looked at another hood with style design and they touted a very quiet fan, but they were out of stock so we'll never know.
