I have tried several electric log sets and been extremely disappointed. Nothing on the market that’s a log set looks close to being a real fire experience. But this Napoleon sets comes closest. I assembled it myself in about 30 minutes. Instructions were easy. The “glowing fire “ could be more realistic, the flames could be higher and wider and the blower on the heater could be quieter. I paid much more for other log sets that couldn’t hold a candle (or flame ) to this set. Turns out it was lost in transit. A replacement was organized and shipped June26 (now a month has passed). On July 10 the anvil arrives. The container had obviously been opened and poorly reclosed (screws were stripped out). The anvil is fine (I expected to need to dress the edges, etc.), but the anvil face is deeply scratched and shows rust. For some reason there was an IV Starter kit in the container)! Still trying to wrap my head around that one. I havent decided whether to send it back yet. I will take a closer look at the anvil face and see if it is salvageable. Do not recommend. Thomas C..
