It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely.. The LEDefense light looks cool and it seems to really work well too. I have put a lot of garlic through it and the light seems to have kept any odor from that at bay. I purchased this item to replace my old one that went out on me though it was difficult to install it but I was wrong it was very simple and I did it myself instead of paying 250 dollars for a plumber to come out to install it once I installed it I was very impressed with the quality and the preference of it.
