The table I ordered and wanted was 59". The Wayfair site only listed 59" tables. When I ordered it said I ordered a 47" table. I canceled and tried again. I finally call customer service and ordered what I wanted. The receipt showed tge 47" table. The customer service person said not to worry it happens all the time. I trusted her and got what I wanted. Delivery: First it was to be delivered on Friday, then Saturday and finally the next business day. I assumed that would be Monday. Lucky for me it was Sunday. The assembly directions were a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5. The product was barely ok. There were imperfections in the finish. I wonder if it had been returned as the shipping box really looked tough.. I like this stainless steel prep table overall, especially for the price. It’s a solid value for a piece that looks professional and offers a ton of storage. The stainless finish is clean and modern, and once everything is assembled, it actually looks great. The assembly was more challenging than I expected. A few of the metal pieces arrived with minor bends or dents. I was able to get everything aligned, but it definitely took two people. I usually build even large furniture by myself, so this stood out. The bigger issue is the base of the cabinet. The “floor” inside doesn’t sit completely secure in mine, so if you place heavy items on one side, the other side can lift slightly. It doesn’t make the unit unusable, but it’s something to be aware of if you plan on storing plates or heavier items in the lower cabinet. It is also pretty lightweight, so you’d want it against a wall or have another way of securing it. Once set up, though, the shelves are useful, the top is sturdy, and the stainless steel is easy to wipe clean. For the price point, it’s a good-looking and functional piece, and I’m ultimately happy with it. I received the kitchen island with extendable dining table which had a few challenges during assembly. One of the board was not milled with the cut outs to fit the other piece together. I contacted customer service and they contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent the correct piece which took about a week to receive. During assembly, there were some areas where the pre-made holes for the screws were not lined up and required some drilling to correct. Once the island was assembled, it looked great and was sturdy. Behind the two doors is an adjustable shelf with ample storage and the drawer is wide and roomy. There is a towel rack at the end of the island and the extendable table pulls out easily and provides enough room for two adults to sit. I love the fluted wood design and the gold fixtures stands out nicely from the white. It's lovely, except the package arrived damaged from FedEx. There is a dent in the back of the bottom piece (not a deal breaker) and wouldn't be there if FedEx hadn't handled the box so roughly. The place for the paper towel roll -- the directions show where to place the screws for the paper towel holder, but they don't hold -- it wasn't specific on how to secure them and they wouldn't hold. This worked for me so very well. I have an old one in one corner of my dining room and this one in the other corner.
