This is VERY heavy. There are a LOT of pieces. It took over 2hrs to put together. It's particle board, so be aware of that despite the weight. It fits my needs and space just as I hoped it would. The drawers are shallow, so no using an organizer. But the 2 shelves have ample space. There was a part of the instructions missing so the cabinet stop for the trash bin isn't attached; it's set in there with hopes and prayers. This has been a fabulous addition to our kitchen. Assembly was long, but straightforward. We did have an issue with the handle on the trash tilt-out thing. This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. This was very well built! The instructions to build it were clear (although I took my time over a few days to build it as it did come in very many pieces) and I honestly enjoyed the process. The color is a beautiful blue-ish/green-ish grey (it may be my kitchen's lighting, but i would say the color leans slightly more to the green side of the scale vs the blue side, but I really like this) and it pairs beautifully with my Ruggable rainbow rug which it sits on. I had a somewhat large bill of items I needed this piece to have, including lockable caster wheels, a trash compartment and multiple drawers and hidden shelves. It had to bonus of some open shelves as well, and I love the design pop of texture on the front-center drawer. I'm also totally happy with the hardware, though I love that I can add my own customization by switching out the hardware later. It's also cool that it has the outlet for optional install, though it's not relevant for my purposes. Our new apartment gave us the challenge of having few cabinets (and half of those there are are weirdly shaped and hard to access the full space of), so this island had to preform a lot of tasks. The rolling island has been great for our kitchen. I love to be able to roll it out of the way and the electrical outlet/usb has been great. I also like the hidden trash and the cabinet holds quite a bit. However, I will say it feels a little flimsy for the price, the back and sides of the cabinet are a thin material and the top is also very thin. Only drawback is the towel hanger was damaged today because someone bumped into it and one side came completely off. So I had to use longer screws to put it back on. This island is exactly what ive been looking for. Unlike many others I have seen this one has the bonus of being double sided so there is a lot of storage space. The drop leaves on each end make it perfect for narrower kitchens and it is a fairly easy build if you are experienced with building flat packs. The instructions say its a two person build but I did it by myself in about five hours, you just need to think outside the box when it comes to some of the more fiddly pieces. Ordered and came very quickly. Went together fairly easily, be careful when your using the screws i got the sizes mixed up and had to redo. Pay attention. The island is very sturdy and I love the fact that you csm roll it around where you want it. It is also very nice to have your trash can hidden. It does not hold a real big trash can but I think is a good thing because it has to be changed more often and trash does not sit long. Has plenty of storage and towel rack on side. For people that want real dimensions to keep in mind for their space, this cart is 60” wide in total with the towel rack and spice rack on either side, it’s 35.5” tall with the wheels, and it’s approx 17.4” deep with the drop leaf down. I don’t feel that the dimensions given in the description truly reflected these overall dimensions. Besides that, I’m glad I bought this. Sturdy, Cute, and functional. Came well packaged. It took me about 3.5hrs to assemble by myself. You can put it together in 1/2 the time if assembly is your gig. I left the towel rack off and eventually took the side shelf off, because my room is small and honestly I think it looks better. When the leaf is open, it created more counter top than I thought it would. The back is plain and could use some adhesive drawer/shelf liner, which I might do later.
