It's a beautiful bed but I had to return it since it's a King sized bedframe and I have a Queen. Forgot to double check the size during my hectic move. I should've realized it when the bedframe was huge. The assembly was not super easy for one person, but doable (I'm a 5'3" woman). My floors aren't properly leveled so I had trouble aligning a few of the holes on the headboard. I had to really push and re-adjust, but I got it all done in about 2 hours. The wood legs are a bit weak and do hear creaking. I decided to opt out of screwing every single slat to the bedframe since that would take way too long and I was tired! It did not feel super secure but I also put a queen mattress on it so.. Anyways, its good for the price and you get what you pay for - I really liked the look and probably would've kept it if iit wass the right size! The item is very sturdy and looks good, however the product photo alludes to the green bit being attached to the wood when in fact it's just painted/sprayed over. It's not too bad with just the spray, however I would've preferred it to be attached or carved instead. Additionally, as my husband and brother would like to add, the instructions are sorely lacking in both explaining as well as showcasing the steps. If you haven't done any DYI before, just ask somebody who is experiences. Thankfully, we have got quite a bit of experience, so it wasn't too troublesome. This is a good-looking and solid piece of furniture. As some other reviewers have noted, there were some manufacturing issues which made assembly challenging. Holes for the foot-end support bracket were not at the right height (or the "up" sticker was incorrect), holes drilled in the middle support did not align with the bracket, and some support slats were wider than the frame and needed to be cut down. The bed looks gorgeous when assembled and is a great value for the price. I paid for expert assembly and it was well done. I haven’t used it much as if yet so can’t speak to durability. Very sturdy and solid and looks great! Some of the instructions were wrong though for example part 13 was actually 14 and some screws were mislabeled which took a little longer, about a 2 hour set up between 2 people, otherwise I really like it especially for the price!!
