Even when polished, natural stone is still somewhat porous and remains susceptible to etching by acidic compounds like fruit juice, vinegar, some cleaning solvents, etc. The marble can be sealed for customers who wish to protect their investment further. The following is intended solely for informational purposes. Very pretty tub! Had my plumber drill an additional hole for my faucet. Very well made and came as described. I am 5’2 and I will say the tub is a little small.
