Glass holders at the top of the unit provide needed storage while the gridded wine racks at the base do the same. The cabinet features durable piano hinges that give the doors a smooth feel and incredible strength. Failed Instructions!! Step 15 has you attach part 14 to the L/R sides which then have to be connected to the base. If you are assembling this solo you DO NOT want to do this as you then have to lift the thing upright. Unless your outstretched arms are wide enough to grasp both ends you will (as i did) end up with a damaged piece as the screw tears through. Instead you one can easily place the base onto the floor on all 4 feet, THEN attach the L/R sides to the base, and finally fit that piece 14 in. The damage is not visible, but it obviously compromises the structural integrity of the piece should it need to be moved. Failing in instructions, which btw, were missing the last 2 pages. Multiple pieces also had the finish worn/peeling off. However, I got this on a super sale for $204 so despite these failings, I am very pleased overall. Looks amazing.. Alice. Brooklyn, NY. I got this buffet cabinet to go in a kitchen type room in my basement. While it ends up being functional for my needs, it could be better. This would be a much nicer item if it was a bit taller and a bit deeper as well. I love the fact that it has a power strip on top of it so I can use my espresso and coffee makers that have short power cords. Assembly was fairly straightforward, but there were definitely some issues. There are some strange screws that have an allen wrench head and two of them were pretty far from going all the way in where they were supposed to be. Ive included a picture of that. Another area had the need to screw into more of those and it was a bear to get to them, because they were between two shelf areas. I really had to fight with the door hinges because the screws are tiny, difficult to get started in the pre-drilled pilot holes, and the heads stripped out easily. I had to use some vise grips to remove two of them that had stripped out, and one of them head broke off completely. We had a smaller bar stand and as we accumulated different liqueurs and spirits, we were running out of space, so I found the Swavar bar cabinet and we love it!! We got the off white color and it compliments our home colors perfectly. Me and my wife took about an hour to build it, pretty straight forward. The quality is pretty good, does not feel cheap. This bar cabinet can hold A LOT of bottle, glasses and accessories and much much more. Check my photos out, in my photos, I did not ouch the bottles all the way back because I wanted to make it easy for me to grab them, but each shelf can hold about 10-12 spirit bottle, maybe a little more depending how big each bottle is.
