OMG I’m obsessed. I have a 14 inch Queen mattress and I was worried it would cover the headboard with pillows placed. It didn’t. Still plenty of headboard seen. I bought the Natural color. I was looking for an incredibly specific bed tall but not too tall headboard, beigeoatmeal color, and lift storage with enough depth to fit suitcases and so I didn’t have to see the items underneath (apartment living, amiright!) this fit the bill from the pictures and since I move a lot, I really didn’t want to spend too much. I was worried about the khaki color being too dark from other reviews, but in my opinion it’s perfect and doesn’t appear too dark. Now putting this thing together was a whole ordeal. I have put many beds together and this took me 4 hours and after all that, I couldn’t get the lift mechanism to work (the main reason I bought it). I then caved and scheduled professional assembly because I really loved the look. They spent maybe 5 minutes to insta the hydraulic lift. It now works perfectly, does not squeak, and can lift my 16 inch mattress and stay up. I agree with other reviews that you have to remove your beddingcomforter to lift as it does add more weight than you think. The best part both my carry-on and bigger suitcases fit underneath so this will definitely hide other things nicely. The bed is sturdy and was easy to assemble. The headboard is nice, there are two creases in the same spot on both sides from packaging, hopefully they work themselves out with time. I would give it five stars if it weren’t for the color, it os too yellow. If it were off white it would be gorgeous but has a a strange undertone to it. We're in love with this headboard and footboard!  We're using this in our guest room that we just decorated, and I searched online forever as we wanted something that looked nice but didn't want to spend a fortune.  Finally found this one and I think it's a really great value for the money and quality.  We purchased the bed in the Walnut wood  stain and it's a really nice color.  The boucle headboard is good quality and a nice neutral cream color that works well with all the colors of our bedding and pillows.  Our guest room is upstairs and we have a tricky staircase, so we were fine with buying something that had to be assembled.  In our case that worked best because of the staircase situation.  My husband assembled the bed with no issues and was impressed with the quality and says it feels sturdy.
