The sofa arrived vacuum-packed and heavily compressed, so we allowed time for the item to expand and recover after unpacking. However, it has now been 13 days, and the sofa still has significant visible issues that do not appear to be normal settling. The fabric remains heavily crushed, patchy, and uneven across multiple areas, including the arms, back, and seat cushions. There are visible pressure/compression marks that have not lifted or improved with time. Several sections also look uneven, flattened, and worn, which is very concerning for a newly purchased item. This does not appear to be normal velvet shading or light variation from the fabric nap. The marks are pronounced, inconsistent, and visible across multiple areas of the sofa. The overall appearance is much closer to a damaged or defective item than a new piece of furniture. I have attached photos showing the crushed fabric, visible compression marks, uneven surface, and patchy appearance after 13 days of recovery time.. Avi. Fri Jun 26 2026
