Splendid piece of work that is woven in Turkey with a re-interpretation of village Persian designs. The vintage and distressed look make this hand-knotted wool rug a natural standout.

This kilim is a unique piece of world art that will enhance your living space. This Kilim design originates from Mimana, located in the Northern part of Afghanistan, an area suspected to have been settled in Paleolithic times due to the numerous cave dwellings discovered there. Kilims are known as pile-less, flat-weave floor coverings, which are achieved by interweaving various colors of the vertical and horizontal strands of the kilim.

The Antique Palas Kilims are inspired by the tribal geometric designs of the Yomut, Luri, Shirvan, Qashqai, Anatolian and Kurdish tribes.
