I love elephants and this little guy was going to have a home in our yard. Once it arrived we had already created a new sidewalk from our driveway connecting to the main one from the road which in turn created an empty space that needed attention. I have always wanted a fountain for the birds and wildlife around us. It was the perfect opportunity. Research. research, research, finally came up with this idea. Purchased a 30gal pond, fountain pump for 6-8’, also a female to female adapter for the hose source on the back of the elephant. I used 12”. Used flag stone to edge the pond. In order to Set the elephant above the waterline I used a block that is used to set decking posts with another half cinder block on top and dressed the top of the cinder block with a piece of flagstone on top. A bit of landscaping and this is our creation. Oh one other piece of info you have to unscrew the sprinkler adapter from the trunk of the elephant to get the stream of water from the trunk.. India. I do not recommend this Splash Pad. I have 4 grand kids that I bought it for. After 1 use, the supper spinner station and the tipsy bucket were broke. The wacky wiggles station never worked as advertised. The clips on the arms broke when folding up. I thought I had the buttons pushed in before folding, but I guess I didn't push them in enough. When this arrived in a flat, heavy box I was horrified. Another “do it yourself” project, I thought. I was completely charmed however, when I opened the box and realized that it’s so easy and FUN to create these globes. I put them in my front graveled garden and fully expect the neighbors to come and “play”with them.
