I could not find the 28 inch wide option anywhere but here! We have double doors and the right side is max 28 inches. Came packaged really well! They were wrapped and then taped to a wood board and then wrapped in thick cardboard. No dents or bends!!! (I was worried about shipping!). I got the peel and stick option because we were not sure how well we would be able to drill into our 1960's doors. Wanted kick plates because the very bottom of the old wood doors is starting to weather. My only complaint is that the mounting tape goes across the back in three strips (from end to end) and the tape goes up to the edge so it's kind of visible. I didn't try to peel it back before mounting because I did not want to dent or bend the plate. I doubt many people would even notice, but things like that tend to stand out to me. I'm going to try to push it back/tuck it in a little with a small screwdriver or knife or something....if it does bother me that much. Mounting was super simple btw!!!! And it's holding well.. Beth. We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. There is a stainless steel ring around the knobs that is bigger than the know itself so food or grease can get between It will be interesting to try to clean. The cast iron pot rests are beautiful and well made. The aesthetic of this piece is great. Not 100% sure about performance. We have a gas smell the plumber has been out twice and says it is coming from the knobs. Wayfair is working with Zine and there is a one year warranty so I am certain we can resolve this.. Betsy. CO.
