Why in the world the previous owner installed white ceiling fans on a brown house is beyond me!! I hated the old fan, how dirty it was and how it didn't match the exterior of the house in any way at all. So, I stumbled upon this GREENEVER outdoor ceiling fan and knew it would be perfect! The fan was fairly easy to install (cramming the remote box into the housing without crimping wires is always the hardest part!). The ABS blades will hold up in any weather, yet don't look like plastic. The fan is totally quiet - not a sound! I installed this exhaust about 4 months ago by a professional company. Installation didn't take long time. We were very curious if it will do its jobs properly. We love this high-performing hood. We got this to go with our new 48 inch for no double oven range. We needed the high power and it works beautifully! Just a couple of notes… The lights are not dimmable. That would’ve been a nice feature. Be sure to mount the hood low enough so that the bright lights do not distract you while cooking. But we did want four lights… Many Chimney hoods like this only offer three and did not provide the lighting that we were looking for. Several other reviews mention how loud the fan is. This is true. Even on low it’s quite loud. However, other models that we looked at that were more quiet… Were 3 to 4 times the cost. We do a lot of cooking and Are just fine turning up the music or speaking a little more loudly to one another while cooking! Ha ha! It has a nice weave and I like the legs so water can run under it and not seep into the cushions.Even if your couch cushions are 29x29x7, this looks a little big. But this box can hold 3 sofa seat cushions and 5 back cushions, and a few pillows.
