This product are designed for use with select Toto toilet models that require fill valve extension. This adapter has a 0.875" fill valve connection to extend the threads when access to the fill valve is limited. My electricians installed 9 of these into our new house with Spitfire Fanimation fans so that we wouldn't need to mount remotes on our walls. I select this switch option because we do not have light kits with our fans. No issues with install but I find the the lowest setting on the switch is still really fast. It seems like there needed to be at least another one or two lower speed settings on these switches.
