We were seeking out a dry storage option for our smoker pellets. We wanted to store them outside instead of in my dining room. This box is the perfect solution. One e we figured out how the tabs worked, assembly went quickly and smoothly. We had this up and going in under 5 min. We have had some rain since we started using it. But so far, nice and dry. If I had the need I would buy another. They would be really cute lined up. While you could use this as a side table, I would sit in it for safety reasons. The construction illustrations are a bit difficult to follow at first. Fortunately, I was able to unsnap/disconnect the pieces that I erroneously snapped together. Then figured it out and got the two cubes assembled properly. They seem pretty stable and do hold enough for my purposes -- 4 thick chair pads in one and some gardening tools in the other. I used a rubber mallet to save banging with my hands to snap the pieces together.
