Please be sure the lid is tightly seated in place before heating. Gas stoves heat more of the kettle itself, allowing the heat to travel through the body of the kettle into the handle much quicker, eventually becoming too warm to grip without protection. I have tried several electric log sets and been extremely disappointed. Nothing on the market that’s a log set looks close to being a real fire experience. But this Napoleon sets comes closest. I assembled it myself in about 30 minutes. Instructions were easy. The “glowing fire “ could be more realistic, the flames could be higher and wider and the blower on the heater could be quieter. I paid much more for other log sets that couldn’t hold a candle (or flame ) to this set. The quilt set includes one quilt and two quilted pillow shams, twin set only has 1 sham. The rustic cabin bedding set features patchwork details with log cabin blocks and rich, masculine plaids. All items are machine washable and iron safe and crafted in 100 percent cotton for a soft feel and durable wear. Both the quilt and shams reverse to tan and red plaid.
