It came in with a small dent in the bottom side of can and my husband tapped it out with a cloth and rubber mallet because we thought it was small enough and Wayfair had definitely taken the precautions for that not to happen with the way it was packaged so it may have happened again if we shipped it back. Looks pretty good and was very easy to set up. Doesn’t come with batteries, that was a bit annoying. Reasons for not giving a 5 it’s not as smart as other trash cans I’ve used where if you open it and it senses that you’re still emptying something, it will stay open. This one just closes after the number of seconds, on top of your hands. You can keep it open but you have to push the Open thing and then it doesn’t close automatically, you have to push Close to close it. It’s weird to say this, but we love this garbage can! It has also been fascinating for our guests. People get excited to throw things away. The controls take a little getting used to, but once you figure it out, it is easy to use and the garbage can stays clean because you’re not touching it with dirty hands. The size is also really nice. It’s a bit bigger than our old garbage can, so we don’t have to think about it as much. It also looks very clean, modern, and nice.
