Because they are going on a second floor ceiling, which is vaulted and might be 24 feet high. We have to have our electricians come out to install these. Otherwise it would be very easy for my husband to install these if it was only on a regular height ceiling. We really love the look of these. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? The product seems to be of good quality. However they need to review their packaging and delivery as the first one I ordered was all busted and scratched. I found 10 major issues with the product. See pictures Customer service was really excellent however. It is the only reason I give them stars. Within 2 days they had answered my claim and sent me another tool box. Unfortunately it also arrived scratched. Much less however (last 3 pictures). Still, it’s the second item that is dinged and scratched. It is usable but not as good as new. Very unfortunate.. Marc.
