I can only review the ordering and delivering of the wardrobe as the last parcel was delivered today. I will have someone install it. All aspects of ordering and delivery was exactly as described except when it was clearing customs. I received an emailed that it was being delivered that day. This is a very expensive piece of furniture that is described as solid wood. It is most certainly not solid wood. I can lift it myself, if I push it gently, it moves. It also arrived inside a wooden box as well as inside a cardboard box with a lot of padding, so there was no physical damage, but it was very, very dirty black marks all over for little dents on the inside, and a film of dart over the entirety of the pace, both inside and outside. I couldn’t believe how bad the quality was as well as how extremely dirty it was. There’s a picture on the outside as you can see, but it doesn’t match up correctly because the doors are not exactly side-by-side as they should be. The film of dirt is also on the outside of the door so I’m not sure how I’m going to clean that without possibly disturbing the paint. )All around very disappointing quality or lack there of) I will say that Wayfair Customer Service did a great job giving me a small refund towards this issue, and it turns out the company that makes this item dropship it so Wayfair is not fully responsible, they’re responsible for selling it and getting it to the customer, but they don’t make it and it doesn’t come from their warehouse. The only reason why I am even doing this review right now is because of my frustration. Be very careful if you purchase this item, and be prepared to put it together yourself! 1st and foremost it is not a full service delivery and why they still have it on their website saying that is, is false and wrong! I purchased this item several weeks ago and since then I have regretted it. Wayfair stated it is a full service delivery, which includes a set up and as assembly if needed. The product came to my house in seven boxes, seven large boxes in which the delivery guy proceeded to tell me they don’t put together items that come in this many packages. Wayfair then calls me later and says oops, we made a mistake, we didn’t know that it was a piece that had to be put together. Let me get someone out to do it for you on the following Friday. They proceed to schedule me for that Friday. Friday rolls around and they tell me it should never have been a full service delivery that’s not something they don’t do on products like the one that I purchased. Now I am not afraid to put anything together. I have put together many Wayfair products, but this thing right here is a mess. The company itself whoever manufactured the parts, was too lazy to even give you pre-drilled holes, and the instructions suck. You literally have to have a drill on hand so that you can take their starter markings on some and put the actual holes in, so frustrating! If I still had the boxes I would pack this thing up and get it back to Wayfair. I’ve spent way too much money! The only reason why they are getting two stars is that they did give me a discount for all my hassle but it’s still terrible! Wayfair, take my advice and take the false advertising off your site!.
