I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper. Beautiful cabinet but I did not use for shoes. Trying to clean out husbands hang up clothes. Like many people too many clothes. Brilliant idea to fold my husband’s t-shirts, shorts sweat clothes. A regular book case didn’t work because shelves were too deep totally wrinkled them up. And there are more shelves on this shoe rack. From picture, I am even trying to hang VFW shirts on wall.. I love these book cases. I live in an older house with kind of odd dimensions., and the dynamic design flows nicely and adds a modern appeal. These shelves is a great update to my space and really has brighten the whole room up and turned into a very nice display. They are manufactured wood, but a lot more sturdy feeling than some of the other manufactured products that l've purchased.., I am not very tall and they weren't too heavy for me to get around, but they feel solid, which is surprising for the design.
