Beautiful cabinet but I did not use for shoes. Trying to clean out husbands hang up clothes. Like many people too many clothes. Brilliant idea to fold my husband’s t-shirts, shorts sweat clothes. I couldn’t have found a better shelf for the space I needed. We live in an old house that we are remodeling so needless to say our spaces are wonky. We have a space next to our safe and this shelf fits perfectly in width depth and height. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. It caused the piece to crack a little which is ok since this is hidden and for storage. Impressed with the hardware - all metal. And it comes with a magnetic screw driver! I really love the way this looks once assembled. Assembly was fairly straightforward just a bit tedious. The instructions could be better in particular the illustrations. The only negative I have is that mine have a gap between them. I adjusted the foot pegs on each to make sure they were balance and that is what I got. Update - lowered rating. Bolts covered with stickers and stickers all fall off. Leaves bolts exposed. Looks cheap. Size and scale are nice. Very sleek and minimalist, the curved shelves give some character. Strong and study. Took 2 hours to assemble which included unpacking the box and sorting pieces.
