Use the inclosed tool to cut through the first layer of plastic and it begins inflating. Cut through the remaining plastic and listen to the hiss. Remove the plastic and it immediately inflates. This is not one of those mattresses that you need to wait 72 hours to inflate, it’s literally ready to go. If you need a firm mattress that’s not hard, but stiff enough, this is the one. Tried two other beds prior from wayfair that were supposed to be plush but were very firm instead. This one actually is comfortable so far. It unrolled and took its proper form right away which was unlike the other two brick beds but it did Stink like chemical foam really strong for days. We could still smell it after 5 days. really great mattress. it is on the softer side but is very comfortable. we bought the 14 inch king size. we also bought our bed frame from wayfair and we love it as well. these two items have elevated our master bedroom. It’s softer than I thought it’d be! I prefer an extremely soft mattress but I needed a shorter (10”) mattress for the bed frame I wanted and ultra plush is harder to find so I settled on this one and I’m quite pleased.
