This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. I've seen these newer afwalls being used hundreds of times since being introduced in 2008, and they have been nothing but really reliable and sensory-friendly for people on the spectrum. Unfortunately, there's a vocal group of haters on the internet who do not like this generation of afwall, but pay them no mind. The bowl of this toilet is deep enough compared to the older model that felt too shallow, like I was sitting on a clogged toilet. The new model, also, avoids siphoning out unnecessarily when you flush it, unlike the previous model that can do so unexpectedly and unnerve some people. The gas plug (TM) door can be closed while the appliance remains hooked up. It is manufactured with an extra safety feature that ensures the gas supply is shut off before an appliance can be disconnected, which along with the lockable door provides the owner with peace of mind and a clean method of concealing pipes and valves.
