Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful porcelain set for four, dinner, salad, and bowls. They are better in real life than they appear in the photos. I always think of blue and white dishes as “the fancy” dish ware because that’s what my mother called the Wedgewood with the blue pattern when I was a child. I would occasionally make sandwiches for friends with them and later be told that I wasn’t supposed to bring “ the fancy” dishes poolside. But enough about that. The patterns are beautiful, and each plate has a different design. The bowls are shallow with a barely visible lip, they hold a lot more than you’d think at first glance. The design is just barely raised, not perceived visually, and only noticeable if you run your fingers over them. The weight of the plates are substantial yet they appear paper thin. I would say that they could easily last for many, many years without chipping or cracking. I look forward to many years of service from this set. I am adding more black accents throughout my home. I selected this piece for my master bath and am happy with my purchase. I took off one star because there was damage to one corner of the frame. I filled it in with a black permanent marker and you cant see the damage now. Just be aware that this picture appears online to have texture in certain areas, but it does not.
