Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. This shower escutcheon and handle shower trim set is durable and functional and backed by a limited lifetime warranty and our technical support team. The tri-star handle is easy to install, and the escutcheon includes etched hot and cold indicators. The secondary handle on the cover plate controls the volume of water coming from your showerhead. This trim kit includes everything needed for installation.

I've had 3 of these Simmons shower valves for over 30 years. The trim uses a clear plastic knob and a now very worn out backer template. Everything about the trim was very tired and the socket portion of the knob broke when I was trying to remove it to change the actual pressure balancing valve insert. This new design is significantly cleaner looking and will likely easily outlast my previous plastic valve handle. I like this so much that I subsequently ordered 2 more for my other taps.. Bill.
