This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. Beautiful, and functions as expected and we do love the faucet, but I need to mention two minor caveats (for which I have lowered my rating by 1-star): The faucet has lower flow in normal mode than I had hoped. I understand all faucets are limited these days, but the drop in flow was noticable compared to my old faucet. The second and bigger issue was that one of the water-line connection hoses was a couple of inches too short. The major brand faucet it replaced had hoses that were plenty long, so I can only assume those on this faucet are shorter than standard.
