It has a faux painted finish that gives it a rich, aged, antique feel, and it genuinely looks like beautiful, old woodwork. It is made from an extremely lightweight polyurethane material that seems as though it would make this product much easier and cheaper to install than actual wood crown molding. Unfortunately, this won’t work for the project that I had intended it for, but if you are making upgrades to your existing home or building a new home and would like to add some lovely old world elements, these crown moldings are a wonderful option!.
