After buying canvas topped gazebos in the past, I finally made a decision to get the aluminum patio gazebo. This is the second one we have purchased, one was a gift and we liked it so much we purchased this for us. it’s incredibly sturdy. I was delighted that the roof has 3 hook areas for lighting, plants or wind chimes. The only thing that I would say to the negative is that it took an inordinate amount of time during setup to peel the protective film off the aluminum top pieces perhaps maybe they could do something more with a different protection that could be easily removed but other than that, we love it.. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor.. This is my second time buying this gazebo. I get so many compliments when people come over! The last one ended up getting ruined by a wind storm but I had it for several years and everything was holding up perfectly. The canopy fabric color did not bleach out and the curtains were still perfect. There was zero rust on the frame itself even with our harsh winters. I’m giving this gazebo 4 stars overall. My husband assembled it by himself, and the process took about 4 hours. The most frustrating part was the corner pieces that fit into the frame—the alignment seemed slightly off, making them extremely difficult to get into place correctly. That said, once assembled, I absolutely love the look of it. It feels very sturdy and has been a beautiful addition to our backyard. My biggest complaint is the mosquito netting. The mesh does not fully reach the top of the frame, leaving about a one-inch gap between the curtain and the gazebo where bugs can easily get inside. I’ve been able to reduce the gap somewhat by double-looping the attachment points onto the clips, but that’s not something customers should have to do. I was also missing seven hooks when the gazebo arrived. On a positive note, customer service was excellent. After I contacted them about the issues, they offered to send a replacement frame, canopy, netting, and hooks at no cost. I really appreciated their willingness to make things right and felt that was very generous. At this point, we’re not eager to take the entire gazebo apart since it’s already assembled, but I’ll update my review if we decide to install the replacement parts. Overall, I would recommend this gazebo. It looks great, feels sturdy, and the company stands behind its product. Just don’t expect perfection, and be prepared for a few assembly and fitment issues.. What a nice patio canopy. We really like it. Its easy enough for one person to assemble, but two people assembling would be ideal. Its nice looking. Its tall. The fabric seems to be a stronger weave than most. We like the large air vent and the hook for our fanlight. We are not sure of the weep holes when it rains. We want everything under it as dry as possible. Thats a wait n see situation. We have set aside the wall panels and bug netting but they are very well made of high quality durable fabric.
