Very pretty. Instructions were clear, but I also put together a lot of furniture. Easy to follow if you know what you’re doing. Took a couple hours, but the longest part was trying to get the doors completely even after they were installed. I see a lot of other people say that theirs are not even, but the hinges are designed to be movable up and down, in and out, etc.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I opened the box as the pieces were well-packed and felt high-quality. However, the build process was a pain as the pieces did not fit perfectly. Some pieces were bigger than the space they were supposed to be in, so it gave me lots of headache. Some holes were in a position that my drill gun could not fit, and I had to manually twist the drills in, which cost lots of time. Besides that, the sideboard looks great. It has a unique curve to it, feel sturdy and high quality. It is not the most high-end real-wood sideboard, but it is much better than any cheap, mainstream sideboard out there for sure. I ordered this 47x16 Mid Century Modern Sideboard Buffet Cabinet for the alcove in my dining area of my downtown high-rise condo for added storage and appearance. I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality look and feel once it was assembled. It is a solid and heavy piece that should be durable for bar dining storage. I did choose to replace the included wood knobs with antiqued brass drawer knobs and have coordinating brass door pulls on order to replace the wood pulls. This hardware replacement really upgraded the look to an even more high end feel to coordinate with the other mid century modern wood pieces in the same area and only cost an extra 12. IMHO, This piece looks a bit smallershorter in person than in the pictures so definitely be aware of the dimensions of the cabinet before ordering and how tallbig of a space you are using it in. I ended up adding 2 in height with swivel levelerextender feet and will add wall decor above it to help make a bigger impact. The cabinet arrived well packed in a very heavy large box that really needs 2 people or a trolley to move. There was a corner of one of the doors that had a small bit of surface damage to the veneer that I was able to fix with a furniture and floor stain marker that I had on hand. There are many pieces that are all labeled and well organized. It took me several hours by myself to assemble. I highly recommend an electric screwdriver for the job especially when installing the back panels. The included directions are pretty clear as long as you pay very close attention to the pictures and direction of all the panels and groves and notches. For the price, the quality and appearance of this cabinet is outstanding and I highly recommend it as a great storage and nice looking accent piece especially for apartmentcondosmall space living. This side board is gorgeous in peron. I purchased two of them to serve as a long TV console with the TV mounted on the wall just above it. The color is rich. The shelves are spacious. I added a few wooden baskets inside to keep stuff neat. Note, the entire piece isnt wooden but the legs and front are. It took the installer about 2hrs to put both pieces together.
