Kudu is one of the most glorious of all African Antelopes. It is also one of the biggest African Antelope skulls. Its spiral horns are graceful and impressive and will add a touch of raw nature and sophistication to any space.

A statement piece that we put in the dining room. Horns are separated from the skull, but easily slide on. The only mishap we had was the mounting clip was installed upside down, but it was too small screws behind the skull and just turned it around. Little bigger than expected, but absolutely love it.. For every Ngapa Jukurrpa II artwork sold, a percentage of the sale price goes directly back to the artist. This Aboriginal artwork depicts the water Dreaming and tells a story of two Jangala men, rainmakers, who sang for the rain and unleashed a giant storm. The storm traveled from the east to the west until it reached Warlura, a waterhole to the east of Yuendumu in the Northern Territory. At Warburg, a gecko blew the storm away. The storm continued on, covering the lands with rain and shooting out bolts of lightning, awakening the "Kurdukurdu Mangkurdu Jukurrpa" (children of the clouds Dreaming). The water Dreaming built hills at Ngamangama and stuck long pointy clouds into the ground at Jukajuka, where they can still be seen today in the Northern Territory as rock formations. The water Dreaming continued its travels to Mikanji, a watercourse northwest of Yuendumu, where the storm was picked up by a "Kirrkarlanji" (brown falcon) and taken farther north. At Puyurru, the falcon dug up a giant "Warnayarra" (rainbow serpent). The serpent carried water with it to create another large lake, before traveling on through other locations and eventually arriving at Gurindji country to the north. In contemporary Warlpiri paintings, traditional iconography is used to represent the "Jukurrpa" (Dreaming). Short dashes are often used to represent "Mangkurdu" (cumulus & stratocumulus clouds), and longer, flowing lines represent "Ngawarra" (flood waters). Small circles are used to depict "Mulju" (soakages) and riverbeds. Afterward the fashionably dressed gathered for dinner at the Armenonville Pavilion, a sparkling restaurant on the shore of Bois de Boulogne, bringing together the many of the beautiful people and varied personalities and classes including the pictured notorious Spanish actress and dancer, La Bello Otero star of the Folies-Bergere. Gervex, sometimes considered an Impressionist, was also an academic and classically trained painter who favored larger works including wall panels. On one of his many travels, Gervex was commissioned to paint portraits of the Czar Nicholas II and the Russian royal family. On his eyes, it is said that he has only one eye and the second eye is yellowish, (but here we see two normal eyes instead of one ). Here Kubera is sitting in such a luxury manner besides a beautiful MASAND as if watching the grand salsa-dance of the nymphs( apsaras). It is believed that Kubera grants gold and other precious metals from his treasury to his devotees who chant his mantra ‘Oṃ Shaṃ Kuberāya Namaḥ’ 108 times.
