Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. This oven looks really nice & cooks extremely well! I use Convection Mode mostly & it automatically reduces temperature which is nice. Bake Mode is what I use for desserts, breads & so far I’m happy with that. I have used the air fryer & comes with a basket. Improvements: menu panel is VERY hard to see in the evening- the print is too light. This really needs to be backlit, imo. (The LCD display that shows temp, etc is very bright so I’m not sure why the menu display is so dull) Also it’s missing add a minute button, when you want to add more time to cooking. The oven light goes off after 1 minute, which makes no sense if you want to check on your food while cooking. Performance-wise, the 1-hour wash and dry cycle is a huge game changer — dishes come out sparkling clean and table-ready much faster than my previous dishwasher. The cleaning power is seriously noticeable too. The high-pressure jets do an amazing job tackling stuck-on food, and the TrueSteam feature helps keep glasses and dishes looking spotless with far fewer water spots. I’ve also been pleasantly surprised by how dry everything comes out when the cycle finishes. Another standout is the adjustable 3rd rack. It makes loading awkward utensils, long flatware, and small cups so much easier and helps maximize space throughout the entire dishwasher.
