This is overall a nice purchase. We did get a defective piece that had a large cut in the pole, but Wayfair was quick to send a new one. The canopy itself is not well thought out. There’s no way you can just throw it over the top and expect it to stay. We have weaved it through the slats as well as made a few modifications that makes it more functional. Sturdy, but it doesn’t seem like the type of pergola that will last for a significant time. We finally got this gazebo up. Love the final look but it was a process to get here. It took 3 people roughly 10-12 hours to complete this. The instructions are fine but I think order of them could make more sense for the roof attachment. The instructions also never tell you what tools to use if each step which would have been nice. There’s so many parts that we needed a little more guidance with that part. We also had all 4 of the posts scratched upon arrival. They scratch easy but thankfully it comes with touch up stain. We used different anchor bolts to attach the base to our concrete because it didn’t seem to work with the 38” hole that they recommend.
