Perfect, perfect, perfect! This light is in a room 13' x 13' with 9' ceilings, over a queen sized bed. It's fantastic. I have 40 watt bulbs in the fixture. It is not on a dimmer. It casts a lovely warm light throughout the room. It's not bright-white reading/task light, but I didn't want that. I wanted useful but calm mood lighting. These bulbs with this fixture would be absolutely perfect over a dining table. If you used 60 or 100 watt bulbs it would be quite bright. Apologies for the poor photography - it's tough to photograph bare bulbs! The ash wood dining table is a work of art. The intricate grain of ash wood adds charm and sophistication to any dining room.

I absolutely love this table however the top piece is not centered on the square piece below it. I am not sure if that was an install mistake or the factory. I also don't love that I cannot figure out how to reach customer service to speak to a human about this. I am not returning the item because of the lentgh or time it took to be delivered however any advice about what to do would be great. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. We have been remodeling our new home and I needed a very special light over our teak dining table. This fixture is stunning. I took small garlands of berries and tiny pine cones and threaded it around the arms of the lamp, added tiny candle like dimmable bulbs and with each season I add elements to it. Gives off more light than you’d expect and spreads it across the length of the dining room table. It’s a sort of dramatic, studio light effect, which I love in the space.
