The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Have used for 2 months now; ducted to the outside and the 300 CFM is adequate. There are three speeds to the fan and we use the highest the most. Will caution that my contractor was surprised the opening to duct out was higher than he anticipated; mentioning this for anyone doing a remodel to ensure their contractor understands this before closing up walls in case any framing needs to be adjusted. The unit itself is nice. A couple of issues is that the description is incorrect. The company confirmed that this unit is NOT 700 CFM but 400. After multiple attempts and communications between Wayfair and the company we decided to keep the unit. So far is working great. Keep in mind that this is not a fingerprint free stainless steel so during the installation it might be a good idea to wear gloves. We had to work a lot to remove our fingerprints from the unit. … The unit looks and function 5 stars, The stainless steel not fingerprint resistant 4 stars The incorrect description from Wayfair 1 star.
