This product works exactly as advertised. My friends and family were really impressed with the professional look to my new setup as well. I knew mounting above my fireplace was not ideal, but in my house, it really was imperative! This is a great solution for reducing neck strain looking up, and even my wife loves it!!! I did have some difficulties in trying to figure out EXACTLY where to mount it as the directions were not the easiest to decipher for fitting my mount/tv into a tight cavity I built into above my mantle.
