When we could no longer ignore the need to replace the rattly old wheezebucket I started shopping and discovered that we could replace Ol' Stinky with what was essentially the same unit, or spend a little more and get a Bosch. We've had a Bosch dishwasher for over 10 years and have never had a problem, so I was leaning towards believing the "hype" that accompanies this brand in the U.S. I bought the Bosch. This thing is somehow dignified. It looks almost regal shoved into its little corner of our kitchen. It's quiet, the icemaker actually works without scaring the entire household with little grinding explosions every 45 minutes and the temperatures in the refrigerator and freezer stay consistent. We got this installed by the professional. It's not so easy for DIY. You need 240v electrical box. It comes with two controllers, one for inside the shower and one outside. It works good so far. I only have for a few days. It doesn't produce as much steam as I would hope, but enough to fill the shower. We have a large shower. It takes 3-5 minutes to fill the shower with steam.. Paxton. The tub seems to be ok in spite of the most inadequate packaging I’ve ever encountered. Not at all what one would expect for a large and fragile item. The attached pictures show how the item arrived at my house. There wasn’t even any packing material inside the box that would keep it from moving.
