Wayfair made it easy, arranged pickup right from my house, and I received a full refund with no hassle. This refrigerator replaced a 22 year old Artica GE Side by Side. I had kept the Artica going for all these years, but got tired of the defrost heater burning out what I consider to be too often? I purchased OEM one's, but the last one lasted about 14 months and it was a GE one. Don't know why they don't last any better? Anyway said goodbye to the old girl that served us pretty well for those 22 years. The ice maker had failed and had developed an internal leak I could not find and fix, so we lived without that for several of it's last years. Now, this new one is HUGE at 28.3 The old one was about 25 cu. ft. Actually, I hated the dark tunnel of the Artica Side by Side. Could not find things back in there! This new one is great from that standpoint with the lighted back panel, you can see everything in there. Like the convertible part and the drawers in the freezer section. I've read that the ice makers in GE refrigerators are troublesome compared to other brands? I hope it is trouble free, but all of that is unknown just after purchase and setup. The old Artica was built like a tank. The shelving was sturdy. This new one has shelving and door trays that are a bit less robust. I hope they stand up as well as the old Profile Artica? I love this frig. Had it for a week now. It is perfect and HUGE. The description says yes for Door in door, but it does not have that. I was not interested in that feature anyways. I love this counter depth refrigerator. We received it a few weeks later than originally scheduled, but it was better than not getting it at all. Thanks goodness for Wayfair! I couldn’t order it anywhere without waiting over 5 to 6 months. The inside drawer within the freezer drawer had a small piece broken. But I was able to send a video to the tech and the part was ordered and received. I love the fact that you don’t see fingerprints. Picking a stove was a major consideration and dilemma for me during my kitchen renovation. After finally settling on this Paramount duel fuel, I am very glad I went with it! It’s really beautiful and so far, has worked flawlessly. Nice flames, easy to adjust (I made the switch to gas from electric and I am so pleased!). The oven has been spot on with temp with no real learning curve. Love the simple and basic controls, no frills with the exception of style and lovely slide-out racks! Minus one star for being a little bulkysticking out farther than many (although i knew this at purchase) and also for some loud popscreaksgroans when oven coming to temp. Sleek and a eye catcher. Has great ventilation pull and has several levels of suction. My only complaints are...the fan is a bit loud and my front panel only lights up once you press on the light or vent fan icons. It's extremely hard to see the number on and light icon on the solid black touch panel. It should have a back light. Could be the installer missed connecting a wire for the back light.
