I searched for literally hours for a range hood that had a CFM higher than 800, was 36" but didn't have the touch screen controls. I finally came across this range hood option since it was very decently priced. Overall, we are very happy with it especially considering what it costs. Range hoods can get quite speedy. My favorite thing about it is the real buttons! They are placed in a great spot and are super easy to turn off and on. The lights also work wonderfully. It works good getting the smells out. I would say the only con is it is a bit loud, even on the lowest fan but even with that, I would still really recommend this hood. Many viewers complained about the grates coming in a white color and not stainless steel as advertised - please note, they aren't white. I purchased this to replace an older vent hood that was still functional but looked dated. This unit was very easy to install and has a nice clean look that blends in well with my other appliances.. As far as the operation of the unit it is much quieter than my old unit and seems to do a much better job of pulling in all of the smoke and condensation compared to the older unit that I replaced. It is easy to keep clean and the light is well placed to allow for sufficient illumination of the cooking surface. I highly recommend this unit. It is a good value and a great product.. Davidl.
