Very quiet compared to most brands I’ve had. I do think it could be a littler cooler on max but it will eventually cooldown the room and maintain good temp after. I have had this microwave for just a few months. I want to echo what others have said. The fan is loud. Our microwave does not have built in exhaust that is piped out, so the fan blows through the front vent. Also, just today, the light went out. I looked at the bulb, but I don't see any issue.
