So far I do like this it does make the water taste a lot better. Its not quite as cold as I would like I have a 32 oz water bottle and Im about halfway of filling it the water gets warm since its refilling the tank as it goes, but some ice cubes would fix that. Was very tired of hand held water filter pitchers. I needed something with a stationary spout and filters that lasted for maybe a couple of months as well as good tasting water. The stainless steel container is preferable to plastic and the filters last a lot longer. Now I don’t have to store f use refrigerator or cupboard space for all the spare water bottles and pitchers. Filtration is as low as 0.5 microns. The cartridge can be cleaned up to 30 times (about once a month). Water flows through our SMART special house blend of 2 types of coconut-shell GAC (including Catalytic) with 2 types of Eagle Redox Alloys (9500 & 6500) & anion exchange resin. This blend effectively reduces & removes heavy metals, chlorine & chloramine, pesticides & herbicides, pharmaceutical by-products & other inorganic substances such as petroleum byproducts. Ceramic and Tourmaline balls enhance the water and maintain a more alkaline pH. Water flows through granulated activated carbon (GAC). GAC is universally recognized and widely used as an effective adsorbent for a wide variety of organic contaminants, such as chlorine (99.9%), chemicals linked to cancer (THM's, benzene) pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), PCB's, MTBE's and hundreds of other chemical contaminants that may be present in water causing bad taste and odours in your drinking water.

I have been using these filters for the last 7 years. I live in LA and the facet water isn’t the best to drink. These filters make a healthy water that taste good.
