Painting is even more beautiful in person and is a great addition to my living room decor! I added a picture light above and I think that’s the way to go to bring out the elegance of the piece. Other than esthetics, it was packaged well, arrived undamaged, and came with all the necessary hanging hardware. Only thing to be mindful of is, when you nail the hanging hooks in, there is no way to pull them back out. So make sure you measure twice (or three times), before you nail those in. The Isere was carrying the disassembled Statue of Liberty, which was a gift from the people of France to the United States.
