I didn’t realize it had one and one of the pair I ordered has been leaking like a sieve and corroding for the last several months. Of course now I realize there is one, I am now one week out of warranty. I think the corrosion is a common occurrence with the bronze finish if you can’t keep them really dry, but not sure why both faucets I ordered are leaking so bad now because of my plumber or the product. This faucet looks great and was very easy to assemble and install. The black and gold finish gives it a modern, high-end appearance, and it feels solid once installed. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the faucet sits quite high above the sink. While the tall design looks nice, it causes water to splash more than expected, especially when the water pressure is turned up. I have never had a batch disposal before. I have always had the traditional ones that require a switch to turn on. The only real issue (and its not much of one) is with how our sink is in the kitchen island there isn't a good spot to set the plunger when not in use other than in the sink itself. It is powerful and I am really happy how well it does its job. There is no flap that covers the opening to the drain like on traditional disposals. I thought this would be an issue having it open and silverware falling in. With our drain off to the right it really has not been a problem. Although I did have a fork fall into it the fact that the disposals "neck" between the sink and the bottom is long so the fork never fully fell into the disposal it just stood straight up. Also not having that flap covering the disposal makes it much easier to see at a glance if anything has made its way in that should be there. It is noisy but not bad, just as I expected as from traditional. I like the safety of it not turning on unless the plunger is in. We have young kiddos. Just makes me feel better.
