Had a hard time finding a fan the size I wanted but this was it! I wanted a larger size and most were not long enough for my 36" stove width I wanted a good 4" on each end. It looks great. Bit loud on low speed but think it's bcs it's so long. I don't mind. And it does a fantastic job of sucking up garlic or onion smells! Love the sleek look, baffles easy to remove and wash. This was delivered super fast. It was packaged well. It was what we were looking for, and now that I’ve got it installed and used it a few times, I can say it works so well, and I love it. I knocked a star off because there are some frustrating (welding) stains on the stainless steel, and I got cut on a piece of sharp metal that was sticking out of it. Other than that, it’s a dream, and for the price, I don’t think we could have gotten even close with another option. This came in an extra large box and was packed with styrofoam very well no dents or damage. This was a heavy package so I greatly appreciate the delivery person bringing it all the way for my front door. This hood range is a beautiful stainless steel and has push button touch screen an is a very high end product unfortunately I didn’t measure correctly and 36 inches was to big for my space…. The only way to mount and make it work would have been to cut or replace mycabinets and I’m definitely not doing that. Next time I’ll measure better. This was apart of a tried an true review.. There are many pros about this range hood. First, it’s heavy duty - far heavier and sturdier than my previous one. Second, it’s all metal, even the filters, and includes a grease trap, which is a big bonus feature. The fan levels are great and it’s much quieter than our previous hood but definitely powerful. So far we are loving this upgrade. We did not use the vent hose it came with but bought an all metal one at our local home store for better greasefire protection. I will say the directions are somewhat lacking, however, if the person installing it knows what they’re doing, it shouldn’t be a problem. Don’t purchase!!! I had this delivered on 8/27/2023, I had it installed on the same day. 2 weeks later it does not work. The lights don’t turn on and the hood blower does not turn on. I would not expect this from. $2k item. I called wayfair, they say to call zephyr. I called Zephyr, it took a whole week to get someone on the phone. You have the longest hold times. You ask for a return call know one calls you back. I finally got thru after being on hold for 7 hours. Unbelievable!!! I finally got a technician to call me to ask me , what’s wrong with it”? I told him the message that’s blinking on the hood screen and he asks , so do you need parts ? What ?! How am I supposed to know. Oh my goodness. That’s why I’m calling him, to figure this out. Honestly save your money and your time. I will never purchase from wayfair again. I will update this review, the very helpful technician that is asking me if I need parts is suppose to come to my home tomorrow, therefore I need to miss work to wait for him. I am super impressed with this. Installation was easy except the ducting part that took some work but once installed it works so well. On the lowest setting it’s barely noticeable yet still powerful.
