It's big enough to let me have my nighttime essentials but not so big that it's bulky and in the way. It comes in 3 different boxes so assembly is necessary. The assembly was pretty easy and the instructions were clear and easy to understand. Just some screws and washers to connect the column to the base. A drill is needed to securely attach the top of the table to the base. But overall, super easy for one person to put together alone, even with it being a little heavy. This completely finished architectural ceiling medallion is the largest round medallion offered and creates an instant focal attraction with its 3-dimensional detail. The item comes fully finished out of the package and is hand cast in a lightweight polystyrene that will never shrink, split or crack. Prior to masterpiece moldings' creation of this collection by AFD home, the only way to have had an advanced ceiling with this level of design would have been a very expensive addition and an owner willing to take on an elaborate installation project, requiring carpenters, finishers, and in some instances even artists.
