I was a little hesitant to get this island pendant before finishing the renovations on our house, you can see from the pics we're in a bit of construction disarray! But the pendant is perfect and I can see our large wood table with the wrought iron chairs fitting perfectly with this set. I used the Edison style bulbs which are a stylish complement to the pendant. Since we had an electrician doing work in the house I had them put it up and because we have a slant roof, they made a little angled block to mount the fixture to so it's sits perfectly, although it still needs to be finished to match the ceiling in the pic.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fixture is a great addition to my decor. It’s very modern because of its size I wouldn’t recommend it in a low ceiling/ small room area. My living room has vaulted ceilings and is on the larger size. I have a controlled lighting switch which allows the room to be great illuminated to dimly and both look great with this as it has 5 lights. This is the only lighting needed in the room! I had 3 floor lamps in the room and this fixture does the job that the other 3 didn’t and it’s very cute. It was a 2 person install due to its size.
