For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. The 6 slim led lights are replacing 6 round halogen lights. The installation was relatively easy because the wiring already existed.
